NowSpeak's TTS software solution enables Bluetooth devices, such as headsets and handsfree car kits, to speak the name or phone number of a caller and device status information.

Why use TTS?
TTS systems synthesises speech from text in real-time.
This means that they can be used to speak caller's name, music artist and track titles or messages such as SMS and emails.
Speaking this type of dynamic data, text which is not known in advance, is not possible with any other technology.
TTS systems also have the advantage that the memory required for a language is fixed regardless of the number of phrases that are spoken.

Demonstrations
NowSpeak TTS has been integrated into the following CSR reference designs:
RoadRunner Plug-n-Talk automotive hands free application. TTS is used to speak callers phone number and status information.
RoadTunes a complete automotive production software for in-car multimedia solutions. TTS is used to speak caller's name, phone number, phone name and status information.
The i-Voice eXtension partner headset with TTS speaking caller's name, phone number and status phrases.
In addition we have standalone demonstration software for BlueTunes development boards. These speak names, phone numbers and status phrases in multiple languages to demonstrate the quality of our TTS voices.
